Eucumbene Trout Farm both Informative and lots of Fun. A visit to the Eucumbene Trout Farm is sure to be of interest to any fishing enthusiast as this NSW Fisheries licensed farm has an operating hatchery and grow out area. A tour of the hatchery and grow out area will enable vistors to view literally thousands of fish at various stages of growth.The fish are used to stock the farm's own Trout Lake where visitors to the farm took over 100 Rainbow Trout over the recent school holiday break. Average weight of the Rainbows in the lake is 600gms, but fish of two kilos can be taken.

Anglers who are having a little trouble hooking a fish in the lake can try the 'sure catch' tank where they are guaranteed a fish.The majority of stock are presently Rainbow Trout, however you can also see the rare 'Golden Trout' (albinos), Brown Trout and Brook Trout.
